Letter from the President

It is a real privilege for me to be your new Blue Mountain Credit Union president. I am starting my term at what we hope is near the end of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. I am very grateful for the fact that in the past the Credit Union management and board had the wisdom and foresight to avoid investing money you entrust us with in risky sub-prime mortgages and complex mortgage-backed securities that have contributed to the financial mess. I am also grateful for a team of fantastic employees who keep things running like clockwork. As a result we continue to be in a very secure financial position. This means we are able to focus our attention on ways to better help you with your financial needs. If you are looking for easy-to-use online banking, wanting to buy a car or boat or snowmobile (thinking ahead), or simply looking for a safe place to save your hard-earned cash, we would love to have the opportunity to serve you.

We continue to look for ways to attract new members. If you are happy with the service you receive from us or if you are pleased some of the great new products or services we offer, please tell others. If you have had any problems with our products or services or if you have suggestions for ways we may improve, please let us know. We are eager to improve.
